We are finally back in our kitchen and I am so thankful. It’s so fun! You know how people say the kitchen is the heart of the home? Well, it may be cheesy but it is SO TRUE. We are always gathering in this space. Thankfully, we’re back in business for the approaching holiday season and plan to have both of our parents here for our first Thanksgiving in our new kitchen.
There are a lot of things I LOVE about our kitchen but let’s talk about that Ilve range!!!! Gasp!
I’ll be honest, it took some getting used to. I’ve never had a gas range much less a European range before. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but oh-so-worth-it!
I didn’t know how much I’d use the small side but I use it ALL the time! It’s so handy and I love that I can use both sides set on different temps at the same time. Super convenient.
And!…. It’s BEAUTIFUL! It’s a piece of art! I could just stare for hours.
So, you might ask: “would you get it again?” and the resounding answer is Yes!!!

I am constantly walking around pinching myself. We lived out of plastic totes for so long that it’s hard to believe I can actually walk up to a kitchen cabinet, open it and find the thing I’m looking for. Amazing! It doesn’t take much to excite me these days. If you’ve ever lived through a whole house remodel, you feel me!
